I would, unfortunately, be lying if I were to say I’m 100% satisfied with the outdoor camera. I was under the impression that 24/7 camera recording to an SD card at the base station would be a feature when I pre-ordered. I understand the need to save battery when the device is not plugged in however, with the motion detection still not 100% reliable. It starts to ask the question of “is a security camera that is not recording 24/7 even worth it”. Please add an option of 24/7 recording that can stored on a SD card at the base station, and previous video can be played back through the app. I understand that this feature will take up a lot of battery but for most people an outlet is not to far from the cameras. In fact mine is plugged in 24/7 anyways. At this point the outdoor camera will be useless until 24/7 recording is available in my opinion or use case.
