Wyze lock and touch pad color

I put off installing my door lock because of the silver color. I finally did and love it. NOW I have to look at that silver color when all of my door hardware is oiled bronze. Inside I can stand but the touch pad outside kills me.

Has anyone taken them apart to paint them? If so how was the outcome? I’m sure I can find a dark bronze paint to come close. I have put off getting the doorbell cam because of the same silver color.

Yes, I painted mine a year ago with Rustoleum Oil Rubbed Bronze metallic paint. You don’t even need to take it apart. Hers a link to a thread with pictures of mine and other people that did the same. Changing color of wyze lock - #9 by Barts51
