Quick question I am currently in Nashville, TN watching cameras in California. So is the time of the events on the camera in California time or recorded in Nashville time?

Depends on how you set it.
I’ve cameras in EDT and watch from CDT. When I open up an EDT camera it complains that the time is different then my phone and ask if I want to sync the time to my phone. Gives an option to decline for 7 days.
So you could probably easily have your cameras at either CDT or PDT.
/edit Sync is the way to easily change it to your phone time.
