Simple Remote Garage Door Opener Button

I think Wyze should seriously look into R&D of a garage door opener that replaces the button on the wall in the garage, and allows opening/closing from the app. It would be best if the replacement still had a button, but could also be triggered from the app manually or from an IFTTT rule.

Electrically it should be easy, the button is just a momentary switch that completes a circuit signaling the garage door opener to go up or down.

Based on my own searches, this is a very sought after DIY project with no ideal solutions.

Combined with the Wyze contact sensor to tell the app the door is open/closed, it’s the perfect solution.
