I’ve seen the 70° angle mentioned several times so I thought I’d point out the Wyze Cam v2 specs state the lens has a 110° field of view and the Pan has 120° field of view:

As these were primarily designed for indoor use the wider angle / shorter identification distance makes perfect sense.
For an outdoor camera it might make sense to go with a narrower FOV, but I’m probably not going to buy two outdoor cams to place side-by-side to get the coverage I need. I’d rather have wide coverage of my outdoor areas, but again it’s going to be a matter of choosing the product that fits my needs.
