FYI for anyone experiencing any odd issues. Only ever use Lithium Batteries in these critical devices. Lithium preserves proper/full voltage until they’re almost dead. Standard batteries shouldn’t be used because of the voltage drop over time and can cause issues in sensitive electronics. Wyze should have quality engineering to avoid this “need” but nevertheless, use Lithium cells for your sensitive/critical applications. That is all.
