What can be said, I’m a geek through and through since my first Apple II+ in middle school followed by an obsessive hobby using Amigas for graphic design and 3D modeling; Providing alot of hardware, software and network troubleshooting experience which paved my path into IT.
For the past 25+ years I’ve been providing IT support services in Alaska. Support services has been a necessary evil for me to make a living in IT and has proven to be quite the PICNIC experience; Though it has had it’s fulfilling moments too.
One of my greatest passions for IT is in the integration of automation, remote and virtual technologies within legacy systems and unique/custom applications. Unfortunately, in this day and age of disposable cookie-cutter solutions, these opportunities are few and far between but assisting others with their efforts is a close runner-up.
As a beta tester I find contributing my time and efforts rewarding when I can look at the final product and know my participation was helpful. I look forward to interacting with this community and chipping in.
