@Lachlan6 has a nice 3D printed mechanism for holding the contact sensor unit so that garage door opening and closing notification is sent.
In my opinion, his design can be used on the outside surface of downward swinging mailbox doors. Mailboxes made of any material.

I had been using @AaronR print for the last 9 months or so and had a few people reach out to me to print it for them. I asked for Aarons permission which he recently responded and gave it to me.
