I am not hearing READY TO CONNECT AFTER PRESSING THE BUTTON

Is this your first Wyze cam setup?
On the back of the cam is the yellow LED solid or flashing?
Also, if by chance you have a microSD card in the cam remove it until the cam is setup.
The LED light will be a solid yellow to tell you the camera has power. Once the light starts flashing, your camera is ready for setup.

No flashing no voice from camera
Bar code does not get scanned
Request further suggestions

The only thing I can think of is do a factory reset on the cam. Then if the yellow light doesn’t start flashIng it could be defective.
If the above fails call customer service for assistance.

Done this as suggested.Yellow light is still steady and does not blink.
