Does the Wyze V3 send a push notification to an iPhone when it detects motion like the Outdoor cam? Or is this something I have to pay for like Plus?
It will send your phone a notification using the free cloud service. The free cloud service is a 12 second event clip saved to the cloud, then you will then receive a notification of such. With the free cloud service, once a clip is saved, there is a 5 minute cooldown at the camera before the next event can be detected and the next clip saved. Cloud clips are retained for 14 days. Camplus saves clips for the duration of motion to the cloud with no cooldown between the clips.

You can set your V3 for all other motion events or just AI events. If you set it for all other motion events you will receive many ,many, many, many notifications. The V3 sends notifications for clouds going by changing the light pattern, tree branches and shadows for the branches moving and everything else that moves or changes the light. Depends what you want.
And dust particles at night, flying insects of ALL sizes. Iām able to get virtually continuous recording to the cloud with one V3.

You can turn down the sensitivity of the cam to avoid spurious triggers, or limit the triggers to a specific part of the image. A nearby human will trip the cam even at minimum sensitivity.
