Wyze Thermostat not turning on via Google assistant

Hello Team,
I was able to successfully connect the Wyze Thermostat and my Forced Air Heat only furnace. I also linked my Wyze account via Google home app and I am able ask google to change the thermostat temperature to something or turn off the thermostat. But when I ask google to turn on the thermostat, i get this reply : “Sorry, it looks like that thermostat hasn’t been set up yet. You can do that in the Assistant Settings.” I have tried asking many ways. I have tried the same with Alexa too, Alexa says “This device does not support this operation”

While this is not a function that is available now on Google, our product and design teams are working to bring some integration capabilities in a future update. We’ll let everyone know when it’s ready! To get product updates related to this, you can sign up for our newsletter at Wyze.com or follow us on social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc).
I’ll let our product team know, but the best way to get ideas on our official Wishlist is through our forums where users can post and vote for feature requests. You can use your Alexa-enabled devices to control Wyze Thermostat with your voice, as with most Wyze devices. Talk about controlling your home! But Wyze Thermostat does not have Alexa built-in, and does not have an internal speaker. This means that you’ll need to own an Echo speaker (or another device with Alexa) to control your thermostat.
