Now this blue wire looks like it runs from the thermostat maybe that is the issue

Turn off power to the furnace, then take this blue wire, strip it back a bit to expose some bare copper on the end and connect it to the Com 24V terminal on your board, so that that terminal has 2 blue wires and a red wire on it.
