Wyze Thermostat A/c only

Hey fellow Wyze users! So I recently installed the Wyze thermostat I only have central air working off this thermostat since I have baseboards for heat. Does it matter that I have w1 wired up to the control board/the c-wire adapter and wired to the thermostat? Should this be terminated since I don’t have a furnace?

I just wanna know if it could cause any potential issues since I’ll only be using a/c. It was saying there was an error since it doesn’t detect w1 hooked up so I thought it had to be wired up, but was able to skip the error.

Shouldn’t be a issue, but you could have used that W wire as the C wire eliminating the adapter.
