Wyze Skill in Amazon Alexa App not working

This issue has been previously reported to Wyze and has been confirmed as a problem. No info yet from Wyze or Amazon as to who owns the glitch. Forum Maven @R.Good has been instrumental in getting this flagged and elevated to Wyze Developers for resolution.

We’ve been able to reproduce this internally so you’re not alone! But we’re dependent on Alexa to help with this troubleshooting because we don’t know if it’s a problem in the Alexa app or the device integration itself. We’ll let you know if we have any further questions as we work on this.

Alexa Routines Not working

But when I do step 5 it says “Error” “this device not supported”.

Alexa Integration issue?

Until very recently, I could use my Wyze cameras to “filter” motion detection to specifically Person Detection only. This made it so I could have the lights in my office turn on ONLY when a person is detected, vs. our cats which don’t count for “pet immune” motion detectors because they jump into chairs and on top of tables etc. Now when I go into Alexa to set up any routine for Wyze, it basically just blanks out. I have to cancel the request or the app itself crashes. Granted, the routine I ha…
