Wyze Scale is getting its first firmware update today! Firmware version 1.1.1 improves the data connection reliability, optimizes the algorithm, and has some other bug fixes.

I can get confused with the Wyze release process, bit I’m sure that mine came with 1.1.1. did I have it because I was on beta?

@UserCustomerGwen, is this being rolled out slowly? My scale is v1.1.0, but when the app says it is on the most current version.

Just got my scale today and after the frustrating experience of getting it finally connected to the app, I was then faced with the new upgrade waiting message…trying to upgrade I hit a wall because even though the app shows/recognizes the app/scale are indeed connected (and data is being added) the app shows a message that I can’t upgrade until I activate/connect with the scale, even though I’m standing on the scale and readings are showing in the display.
Any workaround for this nonsense???
Try deleting the scale from the app and adding it again as a new device. That worked for me.
