If you don’t have any mapping, when you go to the Map Editor or before you start you will see, in a greenish color, Quick Map. That is a link which will allow the vacuum to roam the house and via Lidar, primarily, map your rooms. it took about 15 minutes or so for my house. Then it returns to the base station. after the quick map, you can setup room names, virtual walls, etc. Then send it out for a clean.
