Wyze Remote Car install issues

Got home to find the Wyze remote control car was waiting at my doorstep. Opened it up and started installation but after following the directions to scan the QR code i get a “whoops our bad” error saying the website doesn’t exist. Lame. I then proceeded to install the roll cage and they sent the same side pieces and you can’t connect those to the roll bar. Super lame. Go to find support on the app and the Car isn’t even available as an option!! Im trying to race a new car here and having issues every step of the way!

Try setting the camera up as normal then selecting it as one to convert in the app.

Im sure you’ve inspected 100 times but sharing my experience. There is an inside and an outside on the “roll bars” and a little tab on the center piece that should fit in the groove, the notched side should be the “inside” mentioning cause I didn’t see them at first as I was trying to decide if they were exactly the same or different.

I was contemplating not even putting the roll bars on. Not sure the lil guy will generate enough speed to warrant them. More aesthetics than anything.

I had the same error issue with my qr code. After 5 min of use, my car light started shorting out and now there is a burning smell coming from the camera. I have a lot of Wyze product and am happy with all except I am disappointed in the Wyze car. To top it off I was with my family ranting a raving about Wyze Products and then my family pointed out the burning smell.
