Wyze Outdoor Cam Base Station spamming dns

I have a wyze outdoor cam running the latest firmware (4.16.2.37) and connected to my lan via ethernet.
I have noticed that it sends out a dns query every 15 seconds, looking for www.google.com - Here’s a screenshot from pihole.

Anyone else notice this?

I am not experiencing that. Have you opened up a ticket and created a log of this?

If you believe this could be a security issue, I would reach out to security@wyze.com to report it and see if they can check on it as well.
