Upon my Wyze Monitoring system being armed (set to"I’m away", “home”, “disarmed”)I’d like to trigger some rules via the Wyze app or other products (Alexa, IFTTT, etc). Is there any way to do this? For example if I wanted to turn on a wyze bulb or other light to show my family that the Wyze Monitor is set to “I’m away”, is there any way to do this?
I looked in the Wyze app, Alexa, IFTTT, but can’t seem to find a trigger based on the state of the monitoring.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no way to setup rules on any of the platforms to do what you want. If you check the Wish List category here, I’m sure you’ll find others have already asked for this.
I currently don’t believe you can do this, but your best bet would be the set up a shortcut and when you arm the device just hit that shortcut and it will carry out all the rules you set. That would be the easiest way probably for now
