Anyone know how the Wyze Lock sensor knows if a door is open or shut?
What kind of sensor and what kind of information can it gather to know if it’s open or shut?
That’s a great question!
I couldn’t find anything in the support pages about it.

The door sensor in the Wyze Lock uses a gyroscopic sensor like what is in a smartphone, during calibration you are ‘training’ the sensor to know the positions of your door when opened and closed.

Thanks @WyzeJasonJ! I don’t have the lock and I’m not that knowledgeable in the lock. I will bookmark this for future reference.
