Does the contact sensor use more of the battery when the contacts are open when compared to closed?
I see a lot of low battery issues.
No, from my experience it doesn’t. I leave my front door open a lot. It’s open an average of 12 hours a day or more. I bought the sense kit through the early access several months ago and my contact sensors still have a strong battery.

You’re Welcome! I think there are more success stories with the sensor kit than the small failure rate reported here on the forum. I love mine.

I like mine and it stays close 99% of the time!
Sadly, now the low battery light notification, is on.
Where can I find replacement battery type info., along with removal and installation, instructions?
