Wyze Cam v3 capabilities

The Wyze web site is not very thorough in discussing this new cam and leaves me with some questions.

• If I don’t pay for a subscription, can I receive notifications on my phone every time the camera detects motion?

• Likewise, can I view a live feed of the video from my camera on my phone wherever I happen to be?

I believe the answers to both of your questions is “yes”. The behavior is the same as the old V2 cameras. The only thing you need a subscription for is person detection, longer clips, and removing the 5 minute waiting period (“cooldown”) between events.
