WYZE CAM V2 will not stop detecting motion even when it is not there

My cam will not stop recording. If I have full mask on it will record, if I have full mask off, it will record.
It was not like this before but seemed to grow progressively worse.
I kept masking down to block more and more of the capture area and now mask on, mask off or anywhere in between it records.
It is not recording at regular intervals but anywhere between 1 to 2 to 3 to 4 minutes and so on.
just now i deleted 99 captures from 6:48am to 9:56am.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So after rebooting still the same. The only way I can stop it from recording is to do full mask of everything in the foreground.
