I am trying to calculate power consumption for a solar setup. How many watts does a Wyze cam v2 draw?
I looked into this also a while ago, but seem to remember you can’t run the camera or have power out while it is charging…
I don’t know a ton about solar, but if it helps, the camera seems to use about 500-600mAh per hour if you’re running it off of a USB power bank, for example. That varies depending whether using the IR illuminators and other things, but that’s a rough estimate.
