Wyze Cam Outdoor - WiFi vs. Ethernet Connection

I have two Wyze Cam Outdoor cameras hooked up to my base station. Recently I switched the connection from ethernet to the WiFi connection only. After I did that I started to notice the battery life on both units would only last 2-3 days, I mean it would drain down fast and I could not figure out why. So I went back to the ethernet connection and the batteries now last 2-3 months as they should on each outdoor Cam. I don’t know why the WiFi connection only would drain down the batteries so quick but I can tell you for me the ethernet connection to the base station works best, long battery life, and quick connection to event videos. I hope this post helps those that are trying to figure out the difference between the WiFi and ethernet connection.
