Setup:
My front door camera is plugged to a power outlet and supplies power to the garage camera via daisy chain USB.
Issue:
My front door camera can’t connect and eventually errors out at step 1/3 of connecting. The garage camera that is receiving power from the front door camera works just fine. See screenshot from the following link: https://imgur.com/a/eIDW1L8
Details:
The workaround I’ve used to get it back working again is to unplug the front door camera from the outlet (which shuts both cameras off), wait a few seconds then plug it back in again. The power cycle somehow fixes the issue. This is a recent issue that has been happening for the past few days. I’ve had these cameras since March of this year and have experienced no problems until now.
I’m not sure if this is a power issue because it still supplies power to the secondary camera. Both cameras have 85%+ signal strength on wifi.
Installed firmware version: 4.9.4.108
