Wizen outlets and HomeKit

Morning all!

I have 3 outlets that are hooked up to HomeKit through AppleTV. Recently I noticed that one outlet started appearing as always on, even though it was off. This morning I came home and my normal automation to turn lights on didn’t work. I looked at HomeKit, and it said the lights were on when they most certainly weren’t. Has anyone else experienced this issue recently? I really don’t want to reset all my outlets and rebuild the timers. Could it have something to do with my AppleTV being on the beta program? I also have other products hooked up to HomeKit and I am not having any issues with them.

All Wyze products are currently not compatible with Apple HomeKit unless you use a workaround. Using non-supported workaround(s) with Wyze products is not recommended. Wyze is currently researching HomeKit integration.

UPDATE 12/16/19: UPDATE 6/24/19: This is under strong consideration and we’re investigating it. This probably won’t happen soon, though. HomeKit is Apple’s software that allows for integration with smart home devices. This would allow automation and voice control with Apple products. Best, WyzeGwendolyn
