I’m setting up my thermostat and I’m getting a Y2 wire missing error. I’ve tried reseating it twice and the third time, I’ve even cut off the end and re-stripped the wire.
It’s entirely possible that you don’t actually have a second stage compressor attached to that wire, or it might be an error with the wyze’s wire detection. Just keep pressing “try again” until it lets you skip the error.

I talked to my HVAC guy yesterday and he said it’s the same compressor, my second stage is just a different fan speed.
The wyze is probably trying to detect a compressor then, and seeing a fan relay, and getting confused. Skipping should hopefully fix the problem.
