If you’ve already tried changing power supplies and cables then I think the sensor is dying, but just a guess. You could crack it open and look for shorts, damage, loose connections, and water damage but chances are you need a new one.
Hmm, maybe not so much the sensor (it produces a clear image across the frame) but the supporting circuitry.
