Using the new watch with my IPad?

I know this may be a stupid question but I’m just getting back into tech after ten years outside the US. I don’t carry a phone(hate them) but I do carry an IPad Air from several years ago. Does the new watch communicate with IPads like it does phones? I’m getting up there in years and want to have something that can tell me how I’m doing(physically).

Welcome to the Wyze community @sailorhudson! The watch should work as long as you have the Wyze app and the watch is connected to Bluetooth. I have been able to use my Wyze band with my iPad with no issues.
