Use Wyze Cam with Echo Show as Baby Monitor

I’d like to use my Wyze Cam with my Echo Show as a baby monitor. Problem is that it automatically shuts off after ten minutes. Is there a work around/fix for this.

I agree there should be a way to have a camera shown continuously on the echo devices… Otherwise it’s better to just use an Amazon tablet

Extend duration of livestream via Alexa to more than 10 minutes

I found this note on the “How do I use my Wyze Cam with Amazon Alexa?” page: The camera’s livestream will be displayed on your Amazon device for 10 minutes before it automatically stops. To continue streaming, repeat the voice command. Request you extend that duration. I should not have to repeat that I want my camera on screen every 10 minutes. There should be a request associated with the skill that allows me to set the time limit. Example “Alexa show me office camera ‘for 3 hours’”. Or perhaps a setting for the device that has a time duration when appearing on echo show.
