Everytime I unplug and replug the wyze cam, I am not able to connect to the camera through the app. I tried unplugging and replugging again and still wouldnt connect. The only solution that works is if I delete the device and reregister it. Is this behavior normal? If not what should I do
That is not normal. What type of camera, and what firmware version of it. Also what app version and type of phone (android or iPhone)?
I just bought this off amazon, the wyze cam v2, Android, firmware: 18.104.22.168
If this happens again, before deleting the device, I would try force quitting and restarting the app. Then if that doesn’t work, delete and re-download the app.
actually, after replugging it, I had to wait like 10 min before I could access it through the app. Does that sound about right?
No, it should take between 1-2 minutes to come back online.
