Thermostat wall plate size

Does anyone know the dimensions of the thermostat wallplate? The specs only provide for the stat itself and I need to know if the plate will cover the mess on the wall from other installations.

Thanks again Ken, have you been happy with the temp control? I had a Nest that drove me nuts, it was programmed to hold 2 degrees on either side of the setpoint. Too hot or too cold was how it worked and went in the trash.

I replaced a nest, the Wyze thermostat has worked great for me
