Thermostat unit no longer displays temp or senses motion after firmware update 1.1.2
That sucks. Does it display if you turn the knob? Or even work anymore?
Thermostat still works. Unit will function when the knob is turned. Attempting to factory reset to see if this fixes the problem
Factory reset of thermostat appears to solve the problem. Delete and add the device in the Wyze app.
Dodged a bullet there. Be interesting to see if it was an isolated incident, or is more widespread. Usually I don’t have a problem running firmware upgrades when they become available. But with Wyze, I generally wait a few days to see what the results others are getting.

Thermostat upgraded from 1.1.0 to 1.1.2. I was unable to install update 1.1.1
I wish I could rollback the firmware upgrade like some of their other products

Interesting. I haven’t updated yet. I was hoping to see more results on the forums prior to doing so, outside of your experience here. Haven’t seen much about 1.1.6 good or bad.
Wyze is sending me a replacement. They believe that it is a hardware issue.
