At present, the dialog that appears whenever a firmware update is available only offers two choices: ‘Install now’ or ‘dismiss’.
Based on my experience with the recent firmware update for the Outdoor Camera, which resulted in notifications stopping and requiring me to revert to a previous firmware release to get notifications working again, I suggest you add a third choice to the firmware update notification dialog:
“Remind me again in 2 weeks”
This would allow users to wait a couple of weeks and check here in the forums to see if any new problems have been introduced by the update before installing it. It would also likely be beneficial to Wyze, because it would reduce the number of support calls you receive following release of a firmware update.
