I just replaced a Rachio sprinkler controller (it died) with a Wyze controller. One thing missing that was VERY useful with the Rachio is that I could hook up the software to look at my personal Weather Underground station (or the local general station if no personal station exists) for weather conditions, and water accordingly. There was no need for any sensors. This would be a great feature to add.
I think this is what the “Sprinkler Plus” feature is supposed to do, or at least my Wyze Sprinkler has skipped watering based on rain data, and I don’t have any sensors in my system.
Though we get Sprinkler Plus free for a year, it is a yearly subscription after that.
