South Paw Steps

As a left-hander, I wear my band on my right hand. Then I got a rash on my wrist from the band. While the rash was healing I switched the band to my left hand. I changed the setting to the left hand. The next couple of days my steps jumped 2000+ steps per day. Now that I have the watch back on my right hand, my steps count is back down to my previous steps.
I am wondering if the programs are discriminating against southpaws without thinking about it?
Maybe the setting should ask which handed the person is and what wrist they wear it on.
I wonder what my steps will be if I wear it on the right wrist but change the settings to the Left hand will do.

Don’t wonder - try it. :+1:
