I have the camera turned “off” when at home and monitoring is not desired. Even after verifying from the app on my phone that the camera is off…I continue to receive Sound Alerts. When I go to the app and try to listen to the alerts…there is
nothing but silence sound recorded. This is something new within the last week or so.
I have actually put a Post-It note over the camera while it is turned off because “off doesn’t always mean off”…
Unplugging and plugging in is time consuming and often results in having to restart the router…quite inconvenient.
The camera is indoors where monitoring daily activities is not desired.
