I am looking at getting Wyze for my home for cameras and security. The one major issue that is holding up the purchase is the smoke detector / CO detector integration. I understand that the cameras have the capability of alerting based off of the sound of the detectors alerting, but what are my options with me not putting cameras inside my house?
Welcome to the forums! I have cameras that are inside the house, but pointed out the windows recording my house exterior. Some of those cameras have the smoke and Co alarm function active and are listening inside the house. It’s kind of a hack, but if you don’t want to have a camera pointing out a window, you can have it face down somewhere, or tape over the camera front and only have the alarm function active. Some options for you.
