Just got my cameras last night and got a few up and running. I am trying to figure out how to setup monitoring for when we are not home. What I did so far was
- create a start and end event for a day and night cycle
- The start events are setup with 6 actions, 3 for each camera. Turn on camera, Turn on Motion Detection, and Turn on Notifications
- The end events are set up Turn off Motion Detection, and Turn off Notifications
- All 4 events are set to be automated by time stamps.
I think this should work but my concern is that in the individual camera settings under event recording I have detect Motion and Sound turned on as well as Push Notifications. Also the schedule is set to All Day. I do not know what takes precedent camera settings or events.
