I need to run the wiring for the wyze doorbell. House doesn’t have a doorbell.
- What type of transformer do I need to convert the electricity to low voltage? Would this one at menards work?
If not, can you link to some that would be helpful.

What’s the best method to locate the area I need to drill the hole so I can run the wire to the front door? Trying to avoid errors when drilling.

I need to access a constant electrical source, so I’m assuming an existing receptacle should be good? I would pigtail off an existing circuit, and run that to the transformer.
