RTSP Firmware and audio clipping and cutting out on PAN

I have recently installed the RTSP firmware and connect a V2 and a PAN. Since installing I have noticed that the audio is clipping and cutting out. It seems to be with the current audio setting in the firmware. Has anyone else seen the issue and maybe found a fix/workaround?

There was a somewhat similar issue with the latest RTSP firmware and my Cam Pan using Netcam Studio.

The only fix for me was to down rev to the previous release of the firmware.

RTSP on V2 clicking audio in Netcam Studio

I am running RTSP on 2 pans and a V2 and when I access them through Netcam Studio the V2 is having a weird clicking sound but the pans do not exhibit the same behavior. Is this a bug on the v2’s? Thanks, John

I too am having RTSP audio drop outs on my Wyze Pan Cam firmware 4.29.4.41 and no pan/tilt control. Can Wyze work on getting these significant issues sorted out? My video stream has been stable and I have no complaints

I’m having the same issue on a V2. I’ve tried both OBS Studio and VLC Media Player and both show the same problem. To my ear, it sounds like there’s a noise gate, where anything below a certain level is cut off. I’m trying to do a live stream on YouTube and it’s a real problem.
