For example, my Doorbell Pro camera is on battery power. I have it set to record Motion Events for AI Events Only, i.e. person detection. It’s really frustrating that the maximum amount of time that the camera will record an event continuously is 3 minutes. I either have to set the recording cooldown time down to No Cooldown (thus affect battery time) or try to squeeze out more battery time with a cooldown period but risk missing something important happening that didn’t get recorded after the initial 3 minutes when the recording started.
There should be an option to continuously record an AI event when and as it’s happening. We shouldn’t have to make a choice between shorter battery life or missing important events right at something like the the 3:10 mark of an event happening.
