So I just received my cams today … got everything set up and I don’t get motion detection to my phone unless I’m in the app … using and iPhone X on the latest version of iOS and cams are updated to the latest firmware … help!
In the Notifications section of the app, tap the gear icon and make sure Push Notification is enabled.
Then in the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, scroll down to Wyze and make sure notifications are enabled there.

Try checking in the Wyze app itself. It’s possible for iOS to allow notifications and then the Wyze app has them disabled.
I AM STILL NOT RECEIVING NOTIFICATIONS. THEY WORKED FOR ABOUT 2 DAYS AFTER THE FIRMWARE AND APP UPDATES AND THEN STOPPED AFTER A COUPLE DAYS. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL SAYING THE ISSUE WAS FIXED. HOW SO??? ALSO - I HAD SIGNED UP WEEKS AGO TO BE A BETA TESTER AND WAS NEVER CONTACTED. PS - I HAVE TWO V1 CAMS AND 1 V2 CAM.
