Preorder Shipping Update #42
Week of 9/22/2021!
Happy fall, y’all!
Jimmy from Wyze here, and I’ve got plenty of updates for you this week! Why don’t we get right to it, eh?
First, some weekly reminders.

Preorders happen a while before shipments start, so don’t forget that you’ve gotta let us know if you’ve moved since you placed your order! If you think we’ve got out-of-date information, please contact our support team ASAP ! I’m sure the person that moved in your old place would appreciate the gift, but that’s not what you’re payin’ for.

The dates that you see in these emails are estimates for when your devices will ship . After shipping, our partners will work on getting your package to you. Please give about 4-14 business days for your new device(s) to complete their journey.

Not in the contiguous US? If you’re in Hawaii, Alaska, or Puerto Rico, it could take up to 2-4 weeks to get your package to you.

All Products
Lead times on receiving and processing imports that arrive via the ocean remain significantly higher than normal. Preorder shipping estimates may be volatile as we navigate through congestion at the ports.
Wyze Night Light
- The next round of inventory was estimated to clear the port in early October.
More specifically, the next round of inventory should be able to start shipping by 10/4.
Wyze Cordless Vacuum
- We expected vacuum orders from June 1st to ship by 9/17, and orders from June 2nd to ship by 9/27.
Orders from June 1st finished shipping at the end of last week.
Orders from June 2nd finished shipping at the beginning of this week.

We were not able to estimate shipping timeframes yet for vacuum orders on June 3rd or later.
Orders from June 3rd to June 22nd are now planned to finish shipping by 9/23.
Orders from June 23rd to June 30th are now planned to finish shipping by 10/1. -
HEPA Filters were expected to start shipping by 9/17.
There was a one-week delay in getting HEPA Filters out of the port. They are now expected to start shipping by 9/24, and will still ship separately.
Wyze Sense Leak Sensors
- Orders for Wyze Sense Leak Sensor were expected to start shipping 9/27.
Orders have started shipping this week, however it is to be noted that orders for the promotional Wyze Sense Leak Sensor bundle (1pk + Single Probe) are expected to start shipping by 9/30.
Wyze Light Strip
- Orders for Wyze Light Strip were expected to start shipping in late September.
Large delays in sea transit and increasing seaport processing times have pushed this timeframe out into October for 16.4ft and November for 32.8ft, unfortunately.
Wyze Buds
- We were shipping the final few preorders last week.
Outstanding preorders have finished shipping and orders are now closed. This will be the last update that includes Wyze Buds.
Note: Preorder shipping estimates will likely continue to fluctuate over the coming weeks.
The US is experiencing historic delays when importing shipments from the ocean.
More Information Regarding Ongoing Delays
The time it takes to receive and process imports that arrive via the ocean has increased dramatically and is now reaching historic highs. This unfortunately leads to instability in tons of US companies’ supply chains, including ours, and will cause our previously-estimated dates for preorder fulfillment to fluctuate.
Since this process is not controlled by Wyze or the partners that we work directly with, it’s super difficult for us to create accurate estimates until the inventory clears through the port. For now, our only option is to push estimates out a ways to hopefully leave enough time for the employees at the port to process our shipments, and in some cases where we really aren’t sure how long processing will take we may have to abstain from projecting a date for a short period of time. We’ll continue to track this and adjust as needed.

Notes for Wyze Night Light
The next round of inventory is projected to start shipping by 10/4. We’re so sorry about the continued wait here, the conditions at the seaports are worsening and our inventory has taken over 7 weeks to be unloaded in some cases. 
We’re still working through launch day preorders and we’ll need to receive additional shipments to have enough inventory to finish. Once we’re close to finishing launch day preorders I’ll be able to start projecting additional/more specific ship dates. Thank you for your patience!
Wyze Cordless Vacuum
69% of preorders have shipped.
Wyze Cordless Vacuum Hardware
Orders from June 3rd - June 22nd
Should ship by 9/23.
Orders from June 23rd - June 30th
Should ship by 10/1.
Orders on or after July 1st
We’ll need to receive additional inventory to finish fulfillment of these preorders. See notes below.
Wyze Cordless Vacuum Accessories
HEPA Filters should start shipping by 9/24 and will be sent separately.
Foldable Vacuum Tubes, Battery Packs, and Mini Motorized Brush Tools are expected to start shipping in early October and will be sent out together, separately from vacuum hardware and HEPA Filters.
Notes for Wyze Cordless Vacuum
We’re shipping through a new round of Wyze Cordless Vacuum inventory. Shipments will be a bit more steady of a stream going forward, so things are accelerating quite a bit.
Wondering about your separate boxes with accessories? We’re splitting HEPA Filters into a separate shipment as these have cleared the seaport earlier than the other accessories, but there was a small one-week delay getting these to our warehouses. HEPA Filters will start shipping by this Friday, 9/24.
Foldable Vacuum Tubes, Battery Packs, and Mini Motorized Brush Tools are still expected to start shipping in early October.

Wyze Sense Climate Sensors
25% of preorders have shipped.
Wyze Sense Climate Sensor preorders are shipping now. I’ll have more specific dates for your order(s) in the next week or so.

In case you missed it, we launched our latest accessory for Wyze Home Monitoring: Wyze Sense Climate Sensors! With a range of 500 feet, powered by Wyze Sense Hub, these small but mighty sensors track temperature and humidity wherever they’re placed in your home. These are now available to preorder in a 3-pack here!
Shipping just started! We’re currently making our way through a smaller round while we wait for the rest of our inventory to arrive by the end of the month. Shouldn’t be long for us to get through the rest of our orders!
Wyze Sense Leak Sensors and Probes
25% of preorders have shipped.
Leak Sensor 3-Pack + Single Probe, and Leak Sensor Probe 2-Pack
Shipping now. I’ll have more specific shipping dates for your order(s) in the next week or so.
Promotional Orders (1-Pack + 1 Probe)
Should start shipping by 9/30.
Notes for Wyze Sense Leak Sensors and Probes
Alongside the climate sensors above, we also announced another addition to the Wyze Home Monitoring lineup: Wyze Sense Leak Sensors and Probes! These can be placed in common areas under sinks or water heaters, but the ultra-thin probe is designed to catch leaks virtually anywhere in your home. It works with Wyze Sense Hub and Wyze Home Monitoring to notify you of leaks immediately via the Wyze app! Preorders are available here.
Shipping has started! We’re making our way through all of the non-promotional orders with the inventory that we’ve got on-hand while we wait for our inventory of the single-pack of leak sensors. We expect to be able to start shipping promotional orders by the end of the month.
Wyze Light Strip
These haven’t started shipping yet.
Wyze Light Strip is set to start shipping in October. I’ll have more specific dates for your order(s) once shipping has begun.

The ever-increasing time that it takes to ship (and unload) items across the ocean has caused our timeline to slip a bit. Wyze Light Strip orders are now planned to start shipping in October . We apologize for the delay. We expect that orders for the shorter 16.4ft will be able to start being fulfilled within that month, while orders for the longer 32.8ft may begin shipping in early November.
Wyze Light Strip Pro
These haven’t started shipping yet.
Wyze Light Strip Pro is set to start shipping in October. I’ll have more specific dates for your order(s) once shipping has begun.
Notes for Wyze Light Strip Pro
Wyze Light Strip Pro is the bigger brother to the new Wyze Light Strip! It’s got all of the features of the standard light strip, but each section can light up individually with their own colors. This adds all sorts of cool lighting effects that you can learn more about here.
Shipping is still planned to start in October at this time.
Wyze Buds
100% of preorders have shipped.
