Power Options for Wyze Camera

If I could solve this issue I am contemplating I might buy 4-6 cameras.

It is my understanding that the Wyze cameras are powered via a micro usb cord that is plugged into a brick adapter into the wall.

In an effort to hide wires and whatnot, is it possible or has anybody spliced into USB cable and fished it through the wall and wired it into the electric somehow BEHIND the wall?

One option is to replace your outlet with a unit with built-in USB port. You can discard the brick adapter and plug in the camera to the USB port of the new outlet.
