I just got a Lenovo Duet Chromebook. It lets you run android apps on Chrome OS. It’s a pretty awesome device that functions as a tablet or a desktop like device. Here’s a link, you can get one yourself.

I was bummed that the Wyze app wouldn’t install on this device.
Would it be possible for Wyze to release a version of the Android app that could run on the Chromebook?

We are in the researching stage and moving forward with this. I don’t have an ETA at this point since we’re still in this stage and balancing things we’re working on (such as webRTC to improve streaming with Alexa and Google Assistant).

You might want to add you idea there. You may be able to do this using APK Mirror, but I don’t have any experience with it and I’m unsure how stable it is.
If you only need to view the cameras, you should try TinyCam. It can be unstable at times , but works well for watching the cameras. You can purchase cloud recording services from TinyCam, but it’s not worth it if you already use Cam Plus on the SD card.
Is there a trick to using the tinyCam app? I’ve downloaded it, but it doesn’t seem to do anything. I have a camera for keeping an eye on my foster kittens and I’d really like to be able to open this up on my computer while I’m working.

here are free and paid version that support 2-way audio, motion detection, video recording, web server, android wear, Google cast, Smart TV support, Widgets, Tasker automation and more.
But TinyCam is not for your “computer”. It runs only on Android. If you’ve downloaded something for Windows or iOS then it is a scam.
