I’ve been using person detection built-in original v2 cams for over a year. Now I’m forced to upgrade and loose that. So I signed up to pay monthly fee. Both cam firmware updated. And I no longer get person detection. Suggestions?

If restarting your device and power cycling the cam don’t help, I recommend contacting Wyze Customer Support for further assistance.

The chat will be an automated response/“bot” unless you need anything that deals with orders, returns, and warranty replacement. If support is busy they will continue the chat in an email.
I called 206-339-9646. They told me to go to Account/Services/Person Detection (Pilot) in the app and turn on person detection. That fixed it.
I didn’t need that in the past because I was using built-in person detection.
