Person Detection Dilemma - An Alternate Compromise

So concerning the upcoming problem whether or not to charge for an Person Detection, I understand that the Edge-based detection of people is too hard. But, how about just improving false motion detection?

When Person Detection rolled out, I was excited not for detecting people but for NOT detecting…

  1. small bugs flying in front of IR light at night
  2. clouds blocking/unblocking sun
  3. Headlights shining into the house.

Would that be doable?

Sounds doable and reasonable too… Depends a lot on how Wyze sets the priority
