My Pan Cam is mounted high up just under the soffit. It has been continuously panning since July 4th. That’s 5 months. I don’t think that it has ever gotten very wet, but the wind does blow the rain sometimes.
The Wyzecam V2 works fine too on the unheated front porch. Got down to - 10 deg. F last winter. Weatherproofing seems to be needed if the cam is exposed to direct rain.
